Based in Italy, GOSP has five branches across Europe and employs about 1,000 people.

The candidate will be part of the Program NEXT team. The Technical Analyst is responsible for:

• Knowledge of business processes and IT infrastructure to support projects and operations.
• Understanding applications within the scope of the service, adjusting or reconfiguring applications and processes as needed.
• Overseeing the entire application development process.
• Analyzing customer or user needs, designing programs, instructing programmers, testing designs, and documenting programs.

1. Building, designing, examining, and implementing structured IT systems.
2. Meeting with stakeholders to understand and meet their requirements.
3. Gathering feedback from end users to improve systems effectively.
4. Communicating with developers and IT managers to build and implement technological solutions.
5. Translating business requirements into technical solutions by working directly with business users, assessing current processes, and proposing improvements.
6. Planning, monitoring, organizing, and overseeing IT projects.
7. Running tests or investigations on system or application issues and providing timely solutions.
8. Ensuring compliance with internal policies.
9. Staying updated on the latest technology trends and developments, with demonstrable experience in understanding patterns and implementing technology capabilities.
10. Analyzing current data usage and business processes, proposing improvements to enhance user experience.
11. Collaborating with leaders, architects, and implementation leads to ensure solutions align with design guidelines and standards across different countries.

• Knowledge of IFRS principles (IFRS17 and IFRS9) and background in actuarial non-life.
• Knowledge of software lifecycle, Lean project management, Agile and Waterfall methodologies, ITIL.
• Proficiency in SQL, programming languages, and relational databases.
• Professional level English; additional languages (Italian, German, French) are advantageous.
