Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is hiring an HR Generalist to support the full employee lifecycle across multiple group entities in Italy. The role partners with managers to implement policies, manage recruitment, onboarding, payroll and benefits, and ensure compliance in a fast-paced environment.

You will coordinate with external payroll providers, maintain HR records, and drive employee engagement and development while upholding local labor laws and company standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Law, Psychology, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in a generalist HR role.
• Solid knowledge of labor law, HR administration, and lifecycle processes.
• Experience with HRIS systems and payroll providers.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment activities, including job posting, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
• Support employee lifecycle processes, including hiring, probation reviews, contract changes, and terminations.
• Coordinate payroll inputs and collaborate with external payroll providers to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Administer employee benefits, leave management, and attendance records.
• Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment-related matters.
• Support performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and talent development initiatives.
• Maintain employee records and ensure HR documentation is accurate and up to date.
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and internal procedures.
• Assist with training programs, employee engagement activities, and organizational development initiatives.
• Prepare HR reports, metrics, and analyses to support business decision-making.
• Support immigration, work permit, and mobility processes where applicable.
• Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
