Job summary

MSD in Italy seeks a Business Unit Manager, Technology Solutions to lead the Italian Technology Solutions business with full accountability for commercial performance and P&L results. Reporting to the Managing Director, the role drives growth, builds partnerships, and leads a high-performing team to position MSD as a market leader in Technology Solutions.

The candidate will own strategy, sales performance, and portfolio adoption in Italy, while coordinating with regional and global priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Business, Technology, Life Sciences, Animal Health, Agriculture, or related field preferred.
• Significant commercial experience within Animal Health, AgriTech, Healthcare, Life Sciences, or related industries with P&L ownership.
• Experience leading commercial and cross-functional teams and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
• Experience working within a matrixed international environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the Technology Solutions P&L in Italy, driving profitable growth and implementing local strategy.
• Build and expand strategic partnerships with technology providers and channel partners; negotiate commercial agreements.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team; foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver outstanding customer engagement and operational excellence across the organization.
