Job summary

MSD in Italy is seeking a Senior Business Insights Analyst to serve as a strategic analytics partner across commercial, marketing, and omnichannel decisions.

You will translate complex data into actionable insights to shape brand strategy, customer engagement, and sales effectiveness, while collaborating with global teams and mentoring junior analysts where possible. Fluency in English and Italian preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.
• 4–6 years in analytics or data analysis; pharma/healthcare experience preferred.
• Advanced skills with Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI; Python/R knowledge is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current and historical performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks across brands, campaigns, customers, and channels.
• Design dashboards and standard reports tracking KPIs related to brand performance, sales force effectiveness, and customer engagement.
• Leverage advanced analytics outputs such as forecasting, segmentation, and spend optimization; collaborate with Data Science teams.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and enablement teams; share best practices within the global BIA community.
