MSD Italia is seeking a Senior Business Insights Analyst to act as a strategic analytics partner for commercial, marketing, and omnichannel decision-making in Lazio, Roma. You will transform complex data into clear insights that shape brand strategy and sales effectiveness.

You will bridge business needs with analytics, data science, market research, and technology teams, mentor junior analysts, and contribute to a global BIA community.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business or related field.
• 4–6 years in analytics or data analysis in regulated industry preferred.
• Commercial, marketing, or sales support experience; pharma/healthcare a plus.
• Advanced skills with Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI; Python/R knowledge beneficial.
• Fluency in local language and professional English for global collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current and historical performance data across brands, campaigns, customers, and channels.
• Provide fact-based recommendations to support marketing strategy, sales execution, forecasting, and omnichannel effectiveness.
• Translate complex analytics into clear narratives for senior and non-technical stakeholders.
• Deliver ad-hoc analyses to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Contribute to dashboard design and KPI reporting for brand and sales performance.
• Collaborate with Data Science and IT teams to enhance analytics and governance.
