Technical Sales Leader, BESS C&I Energy Storage

LONGi Solar in Bologna, Italy seeks a senior sales professional to drive BESS C&I opportunities and meet regional targets. You will build relationships with distributors, installers, EPCs and system integrators while managing local channels and supporting partner sell-in and sell-out efforts.

The role requires strong technical understanding of energy storage systems, and proven ability to close commercial opportunities with distributors and C&I clients.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Energy, Business or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of sales, technical sales or business development experience in energy storage, solar PV or power electronics.
• Experience in C&I BESS sales is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience working with distributors, installers, EPCs or system integrators.
• Track record of developing customers and closing commercial opportunities.

Mansioni

• Develop BESS C&I sales opportunities and achieve regional sales targets.
• Build and manage relationships with distributors, installers, system integrators, EPCs and C&I customers.
• Develop and manage local sales channels and support partner sell-in and sell-out activities.
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable BESS solutions.
• Discuss key technical topics including battery systems, PCS, BMS, EMS, system sizing and application scenarios.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and qualification to quotation, negotiation and order closing.
• Coordinate with Product, Technical Solution, Service, Supply Chain, Finance and Legal teams.
• Provide market, customer and competitor feedback to support product and pricing strategy.
• Maintain accurate sales pipeline and forecasts.
