Job summary

Danaher Corporation seeks a Fixed-Term Account Manager to cover a Northern Italy territory, delivering technical support, product demos, and strategic account planning from a remote base within the Italian Phenomenex team.

You will build relationships with decision-makers, coordinate trade shows, and translate scientific solutions into business impact while traveling 10–20% and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet sales and profitability goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related science field.
• Excellent Italian and English communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 10–20% with overnight stays and a valid driver’s license.
• Sales, customer service experience and pharma market knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer visits to provide technical information, product demonstrations, and technical seminars.
• Attend local vendor shows and company-sponsored trade shows.
• Build account relationships beyond purchasing to engage key decision-makers.
• Ensure territory achieves sales, gross profit, and unit goals.
• Collaborate with Sales Manager to develop business plans and sales strategies for key accounts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams; provide coaching, mentoring, and training to colleagues.
