  • We are seeking a Team Leader Manufacturing eager to join our team at Varisco Product Company, Padova.

    As Team Leader Manufacturing, you will report to the Manufacturing Manager and coordinate a team of Manufacturing Engineers, ensuring the implementation of Lean Six Sigma projects within production, planning, and logistics to enhance the efficiency and quality of processes and products.

    About Varisco Product Company: Varisco is a well-established and expanding company that manufactures pumps for dewatering and industrial applications. It was acquired by Atlas Copco, a Swedish multinational with a long history.

    In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

    • Lead, guide, and develop manufacturing engineers to achieve company goals in collaboration with the Manufacturing Manager.
    • Lead continuous improvement projects and foster a Lean Six Sigma culture in production.
    • Manage manufacturing processes, including line equipment, assembly phases, flow, and assembly times, in coordination with the Manufacturing Manager.
    • Promote and support the company's digitalization initiatives.
    • Collaborate with departments such as Quality, Production, and Planning.
    • Work with the Manufacturing Manager and Quality team to ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are met for production and logistics.
    • Propose process improvements to engineering for machine optimization during prototyping and production phases.
    • Support other departments in improvement projects across various activities, including Purchasing, Production, Logistics, Aftermarket, and Engineering.

    What we expect from you:

    • University degree in Engineering, preferably a Master's in Mechanics.
    • At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing company.
    • Experience in a Lean Six Sigma environment; knowledge of dewatering and industrial pumps is a plus.
    • Proven experience in people management.
    • A structured, driven approach with accuracy and punctuality.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and team-oriented attitude.
    • Ability to maintain respectful relationships to foster a safe, calm, and productive environment.
    • Ability to share information actively within the department and across functions to maximize customer satisfaction.

    • Fluency in Italian and English.
    • Proficiency in Office, SAP, Minitab; additional software skills are assets.
