DHL Global Forwarding Italy is seeking a Field Sales Specialist for the Venice area (Quarto D’Altino). You will develop and administer field sales plans to achieve revenue growth, enhance customer retention and acquisition, and increase lead conversion for the Lombardy region in line with company strategy.

Your role includes delivering sales objectives, securing new business, responding to inquiries, and coordinating with internal teams to promote DHL solutions while building lasting customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/qualification.
• 3+ years of sales experience in air freight forwarding.
• At least B2 level of English.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient with Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
• Customer orientation and problem solving.
• Autonomy and time management.
• Proactivity and energy.

Responsabilités

• Deliver sales objectives and revenue growth for the geographic region of responsibility.
• Secure new business and build on existing core business through repeat orders.
• Respond to inquiries, resolve problems, promote and sell products/services.
• Identify and contact prospective customers and build relationships to generate future sales.
• Check customer requirements and suggest products/services.
• Develop and deliver sales bids, presentations, proposals and product demos.
• Follow up prospects and close business by linking needs to DHL solutions.
• Coordinate with internal teams to enhance sales and customer retention.
• Support customer retention by maintaining contact and offering additional services.
