Job summary

Renesas Electronics seeks a Senior Staff Business Development Engineer for Motor Drive Solutions in Milan, with 7+ years in semiconductor business development or technical marketing. You will own the EMEA marketing strategy for motor drives, define roadmaps, create collateral, and collaborate with HW/SW teams to drive funnel growth and partnerships.

You will interact with sales, FAE, and distribution networks, promoting solutions and driving cross-selling opportunities across diverse markets in

Qualifications

Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field.
7+ years in business development, technical marketing, technical sales, FAE, or product management in semiconductor/power electronics/motor drives.
Solid knowledge of motor drive systems and control (BLDC/PMSM/ACIM/SynRM, FOC, sensorless).
Experience defining solutions roadmap, value proposition, and GTM with HW/SW teams.
Excellent communication and presentation skills; credible with engineers and executives.
Willingness to travel across EMEA (up to ~40%).

Responsibilities

Own solution marketing strategy for motor drives in EMEA (industrial, servo, building automation, HVAC, appliances…).
Define solutions roadmap, value proposition, and go-to-market in collaboration with product groups.
Promote solutions to customers and distribution networks.
Acquire new customers and identify cross-/up-selling opportunities.
Build an ecosystem of partners and participate in technology events.
