The Role

Do you get satisfaction from being able to develop and install a technical solution that enables the customer's system to be more efficient and reduce its production costs?

Then apply for this position and you will be able to develop and install solutions for analysing and optimising performance in compressed air systems, analysing data and observing systems with a critical eye.

With experience and training, you will also be able to enter a compressor room and assess the main improvement opportunities to be proposed to the customer, sharing them with the Energy Consultant (in charge of the commercial phase).

You will be part of the Optimisation Team, which follows products and energy efficiency solutions for compressed air systems, with the role of: ‘Optimization Specialist’.

You will be the technical point of reference for Optimisation Solutions and you will have direct contact with the specialists at the Head Office who will support you and keep you up-to-date on new products.

The role involves spending approximately 60% of your time in field activities (start-ups, measurements, etc....) and the other 40% in technical support activities (project development, support during the commercial phase, etc.).

The area of competence will be North-West Italy

Activities

• Carry out installation/configuration of the products of own competence at customers' premises, professionally completing complex tasks so as to ensure a high level of quality of the final project.
• Become the technical reference point for colleagues in other areas and provide support and information for successful installation activities throughout Italy.
• Supporting sales colleagues in the technical evaluation during the offer phase, defining the material list, timelines and carrying out any preliminary inspections.
• Interfacing professionally with customers to enhance Atlas Copco solutions, identifying and signalling any new opportunities to be shared with sales and marketing colleagues.
• Keep abreast of product news and updates.
• Follow all established and applicable safety regulations and procedures, including those established by the customer.
• Complete and submit service reports and other required documents in a professional manner and in accordance with guidelines established by the Company.
• Maintain all equipment, vehicles and assets provided by the Company in a safe and correct operating condition and use them responsibly. Inform their supervisor of any critical issue

Requirements

• High school diploma (preferably in a technical field such as electronics, electrical, mechatronics, electro-instrumental, etc.).
• Familiarity with measuring instruments (use, mechanical installation and electrical connections)
• Organisational ability, flexibility and autonomy
• Excellent knowledge of the Italian language
• Good knowledge of English
• Use of PC and Microsoft Office package
• Italian driving licence B
• Domicile in North-West Italy, preferably Lombardy
• Willingness to travel with possible overnight stay
