Role Description

We are looking for several roles:

• Full-stack software developer
• Backend software developer
• DevOps software developer
• Senior software developer
• Senior DevOps software developer

These are full-time, on-site roles based in Pisa, that will join our product development team. When you’re hired, you’ll work on developing groundbreaking and distributed solutions in cybersecurity and anti-counterfeiting. These role involve defining architecture, leading teams in the development of high-quality software in the verification processes in close collaboration with our hardware and research teams.

Qualifications for all roles

• Master’s degree or 2+ years of experience after a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other STEM fields
• Always willing to learn

Qualifications for Senior roles

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other STEM fields
• Four years of documented experience in software development or Ph.D. with a focus on Software Development.
• Advanced knowledge of software development practices (e.g., Git, GitLab, Testing).
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., C/C++)
• Proficiency in at least one common scripting language (e.g., Python)

Specific qualifications for Full-stack developers

• Solid experience in TypeScript and at least one modern frontend framework (preferred Angular, but not mandatory)
• Good experience in backend development with at least one major programming language
• Good experience with REST APIs, Git, GitHub
• Used to follow best practices in terms of security, code structures, etc
• Knowledge of testing and debugging tools

Specific qualifications for Backend developers

• Solid experience in backend development with at least one major programming language (preferred Go, but not mandatory)
• Solid experience with relational databases
• Good experience with Docker tools
• Good experience with REST and gRPC communication, Git, GitHub
• Used to follow best practices in terms of security, code structures, etc
• Knowledge of monitoring tools
• Always willing to learn

Specific qualifications for DevOps developers

• Solid experience with Linux and at least one major cloud platform
• Solid understanding of security best practices
• Experience setting up and managing a container orchestration system
• Good experience with monitoring and alerting tools
• Experience with scripting programming
• Experience with CI/CD is a plus
