Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Senior Specification Engineer to cover the Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia regions. You will strengthen Eaton’s market presence by focusing on Commercial and Institutional Building projects, building relationships with engineering consultancies and end users, and guiding specifications toward Eaton’s solutions.

You’ll manage opportunities in Salesforce, collaborate with Project Sales Engineers and back-office teams, and drive opportunity conversion while prioritising

Qualifications

• Technical qualification, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical education and experience.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Commercial & Institutional (C&I) Building projects, ideally within electrical design, specification, or project management for large-scale projects.
• Fluent in Italian
• English is considered a plus, but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop territory through targeted prospecting, lead qualification, and strategic account planning.
• Build and strengthen relationships with key specifying stakeholders and customer contacts.
• Identify and influence projects from early specification stage through to commercial conversion.
• Manage opportunities and quotations in Salesforce, maintaining a strong and accurate project pipeline.
• Develop initial solution concepts and translate customer requirements into actionable inputs for internal teams.
• Partner with Project Sales Engineers, agents, marketing, back-office, and other functions to maximise project success.
• Monitor competitors, market developments, and customer needs to identify new growth opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardisation of specification processes.
• Represent Eaton at relevant industry events and networking activities.
• Proactively support the sales organisation in converting opportunities into business.
