Job summary

Eaton Group is seeking a Senior Specification Engineer to cover Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia. You will strengthen Eaton’s market presence in Commercial & Institutional Building projects, cultivating relationships with engineering consultancies and end users to influence specifications and drive project success.

You will manage opportunities in Salesforce, collaborate with Project Sales Engineers and back-office teams, and guide projects from early specification to commercial conversion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Commercial & Institutional Building projects.
• Italian fluency; English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop territory through targeted prospecting, lead qualification, and strategic account planning.
• Build relationships with key specifying stakeholders and customer contacts.
• Identify and influence projects from early specification stage through to commercial conversion.
• Manage opportunities and quotations in Salesforce, maintaining a strong project pipeline.
• Develop initial solution concepts and translate customer requirements into inputs for internal teams.
• Partner with Project Sales Engineers, agents, marketing, back-office, and other functions to maximise project success.
• Monitor competitors, market developments, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardisation of specification processes.
• Represent Eaton at industry events and networking activities.
• Proactively support the sales organisation in converting opportunities into business.
