Job summary

Eaton in Italy is seeking a Senior Specification Engineer to cover Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia, focusing on Commercial and Institutional Building projects. You will build relationships with engineering consultancies, design authorities and end users to influence specifications and win opportunities.

You will manage opportunities in Salesforce, collaborate with Project Sales Engineers and other teams, and drive progress from early specification to commercial conversion, while promoting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Commercial & Institutional Building projects.
• English is a plus, but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop your territory through targeted prospecting, lead qualification, and strategic account planning.
• Build and strengthen relationships with key specifying stakeholders and customer contacts.
• Identify and influence projects from the early specification stage through to commercial conversion.
• Manage opportunities and quotations in Salesforce, maintaining a strong and accurate project pipeline
• Develop initial solution concepts and translate customer requirements into actionable inputs for internal teams.
• Partner with Project Sales Engineers, agents, marketing, back-office, and other functions to maximise project success.
• Monitor competitors, market developments, and customer needs to identify new growth opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardisation of specification processes.
• Represent Eaton at relevant industry events and networking activities.
• Proactively support the sales organisation in converting opportunities into business.
