Topcon Positioning Group in Italy is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Field Survey Applications. This role includes developing cross-platform field software (Java, C++) for Android/Windows/Linux/iOS, with a three-days-in-office hybrid model in Concordia sulla Secchia (Modena) or Ancona.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in C++ or Java, Android development, and knowledge of cross-platform GUI frameworks, with opportunities to influence gnss and surveying hardware integration.

Competenze

• Degree required in CS/engineering/electronics or related field.
• At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with C++ or Java in professional settings.
• Experience with Android development (Android Studio) is required.

Mansioni

• Plan and manage delivery schedules with project manager and team.
• Serve as single point of contact for software module development and delivery.
• Evaluate and schedule changes within module scope and design.
• Maintain and modify software through coding, testing, and documentation.
• Support Topcon hardware integration with field survey software across Android/iOS/Windows/Linux.
