Topcon Positioning Group in Italy is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Field Survey Applications (C++) to join our Field Software team and contribute to cross-platform software used by surveyors, engineers and construction professionals worldwide.

You will design, develop and maintain field survey applications for Windows, Linux, Android and iOS, integrating GNSS receivers and robotic total stations, and collaborating with international teams.

Competenze

• 3+ years of professional C++ software development.
• Hands-on experience with Qt and QML.
• English communication; Italian helpful but not essential.
• Experience developing for Windows; exposure to Linux/Android/iOS is a plus.

Mansioni

• Design and develop field survey apps for Windows, Linux, Android and iOS using C++, Qt, QML.
• Build data collection and device communication modules.
• Integrate GNSS receivers, robotic total stations and other devices.
• Estimate development effort and support planning and delivery decisions.
• Support full software lifecycle: architecture, coding, testing, release support.
• Troubleshoot complex software and hardware integration issues.
• Collaborate with project managers, QA and international teams.
• Improve internal tooling and software processes.
