Topcon Positioning Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Field Survey Applications to design and build field software used with GNSS receivers and surveying equipment across Android, Windows, Linux, and iOS platforms.

The role is hybrid with three days per week in the office, in Concordia sulla Secchia (Modena) or Ancona. You will contribute to software that connects with Topcon and third-party equipment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions.

Competenze

• > 3 years of professional software development experience with strong Java and/or C++ skills.
• > Hands-on Android development experience, Android Studio.
• > Solid understanding of OO programming, design principles, algorithms, data structures, and multithreading.
• > Experience with software development tools, version control, debugging, testing, and documentation.
• > Knowledge of bug tracking systems such as JIRA, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing practices.

Mansioni

• Develop and maintain field survey applications using Java, C++, and related technologies.
• Connect software modules with Topcon and third-party field equipment.
• Collaborate with project managers, team leaders, and software teams to plan delivery and ensure quality.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and application issues.
• Support existing mature software while contributing to new features, testing, and documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and contribute to continuous improvement of software processes.
