Black & White Engineering in Milan seeks a Senior/Principal Mechanical Engineer to lead the design of mechanical building services for hyperscale data centres. You will guide HVAC, cooling, ventilation and water-based systems, coordinating with electrical, structural and architectural teams to deliverIntegrated, resilient solutions.

You will mentor junior engineers and drive engineering excellence, ensuring compliance with standards while engaging with clients across a multidisciplinary group

Competenze

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, chilled water, cooling and ventilation.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Data centre or mission-critical project experience is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and technical leadership skills.

Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer looking to take a leading role in the design of some of the world's most advanced data centre facilities?

At Black & White Engineering, you'll join a team at the forefront of mission-critical infrastructure design, delivering hyperscale and colocation data centres for leading global technology clients. Based in Milan, you'll play a key role in shaping resilient, efficient and sustainable mechanical systems that support the critical environments powering today's digital economy.

As a Senior or Principal Mechanical Engineer, you'll provide technical leadership across complex projects, influencing design decisions from concept through to delivery. Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, you'll help deliver innovative cooling, ventilation and thermal management solutions that support the operational demands of modern data centres.

What You'll Be Doing
