Black & White Engineering is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the design of mechanical systems for data centre projects, from concept through commissioning. The role emphasizes performance, resilience and regulatory compliance within a collaborative client-facing environment.

You will work with HVAC, chilled water, CRAC units and fire protection systems, while engaging with colleagues across Europe and embracing continuing professional development and knowledge-sharing

Competenze

• Experience in mechanical building services design, ideally within mission-critical environments such as data centres, healthcare or high-tech manufacturing.
• Good understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and energy modelling principles.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, IES VE and CFD simulation software.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. Membership of a recognised professional institution (e.g. CIBSE or IMechE) would be advantageous.
