ams OSRAM is seeking a senior engineer to act as the company-wide expert in HF analog circuit design for broadband optical communication ICs. You will define methodologies, lead critical analog developments and drive innovation in transmitter and receiver architectures.

The role emphasizes leading designs, performing technical reviews, and mentoring senior engineers and technical leaders to ensure high-performance outcomes.

Competenze

• Requires MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering.
• 15+ years of analog IC design experience.
• Knowledge of broadband optical communication ICs including HF amplifiers, TIAs, drivers and front-end requirements; HF layout knowledge is a plus.

Mansioni

• Serve as the company-wide expert in HF analog circuit design for broadband optical communication ICs and define methodologies.
• Lead the design of high-performance analog and mixed-signal circuits.

Your tasks

• Company-wide expert in HF analog circuit design for broadband optical communication ICs, responsible for defining methodologies and leading critical analog developments
• Lead design of high-performance analog and mixed-signal circuits
• Drive innovation in transmitter and receiver architectures
• Establish analog design methodologies
• Lead technical reviews and sign-off decisions
• Mentor senior engineers and technical leaders

Who we are looking for

• MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering
• 15+ years analog IC design experience
• Broadband optical communication IC design knowledge, including HF amplifiers, TIAs, drivers and receiver/transmitter front-end requirements; HF layout knowledge is an advantage
• PLLs, CDRs, ADCs and DACs
• Signal integrity, noise, jitter and parasitic-aware design analysis
• Advanced CMOS node experience, including FinFET and/or FD-SOI, is required
