ams OSRAM is seeking a veteran leader in HF analog circuit design to define methodologies and drive the development of high-performance analog and mixed-signal circuits for broadband optical communication ICs. You will mentor senior engineers and sign off on critical designs, shaping the technical roadmap across transmitter and receiver architectures.

The ideal candidate holds an MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering with 15+ years of analog IC design experience and deep knowledge of optical ICs,

Your tasks

• Company-wide expert in HF analog circuit design for broadband optical communication ICs, responsible for defining methodologies and leading critical analog developments

• Lead technical reviews and sign-off decisions

Who we are looking for

• MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering
• 15+ years analog IC design experience
• Broadband optical communication IC design knowledge, including HF amplifiers, TIAs, drivers and receiver/transmitter front-end requirements; HF layout knowledge is an advantage
• PLLs, CDRs, ADCs and DACs
• Signal integrity, noise, jitter and parasitic-aware design analysis
• Advanced CMOS node experience, including FinFET and/or FD-SOI, is required
