ams OSRAM in Podenzano, Emilia-Romagna, Italy seeks a senior expert in HF analog circuit design to define methodologies and lead critical analog developments.

You will lead the design of high-performance analog and mixed-signal circuits, drive innovation in transmitter and receiver architectures, establish design methodologies, and mentor senior engineers and technical leaders.

Competenze

• 15+ years analog IC design experience.
• Broadband optical communication IC design knowledge (HF amplifiers, TIAs, drivers, front-end).
• Advanced CMOS nodes knowledge (FinFET/FD-SOI).

• Define methodologies for analog design across projects.
• Lead design of high-performance analog and mixed-signal circuits.

Your tasks

• Company-wide expert in HF analog circuit design for broadband optical communication ICs, responsible for defining methodologies and leading critical analog developments
• Lead design of high-performance analog and mixed-signal circuits
• Drive innovation in transmitter and receiver architectures
• Establish analog design methodologies
• Lead technical reviews and sign-off decisions
• Mentor senior engineers and technical leaders

Who we are looking for

• MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering
• 15+ years analog IC design experience
• Broadband optical communication IC design knowledge, including HF amplifiers, TIAs, drivers and receiver/transmitter front-end requirements; HF layout knowledge is an advantage
• PLLs, CDRs, ADCs and DACs
• Signal integrity, noise, jitter and parasitic-aware design analysis
• Advanced CMOS node experience, including FinFET and/or FD-SOI, is required
