ams Italy S.r.l. seeks a senior expert in HF analog circuit design for broadband optical communication ICs to define methodologies and lead critical developments.

You will lead high-performance analog and mixed-signal design, drive transmitter/receiver architectures, establish design processes, and mentor engineers while playing a key role in technical reviews.

This role requires 15+ years of experience and a MSc/PhD in Electrical Engineering, with advanced CMOS FinFET/FD-SOI exposure.

Competenze

• 15+ years analog IC design experience.
• Broadband optical communication IC design knowledge (HF amplifiers, TIAs, drivers, Rx/Tx front-end).
• HF layout knowledge is an advantage

Who we are looking for

• MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering
• 15+ years analog IC design experience
• Broadband optical communication IC design knowledge, including HF amplifiers, TIAs, drivers and receiver/transmitter front-end requirements; HF layout knowledge is an advantage
• PLLs, CDRs, ADCs and DACs
• Signal integrity, noise, jitter and parasitic-aware design analysis
• Advanced CMOS node experience, including FinFET and/or FD-SOI, is required
