Vertiv in Bologna is seeking a Pre-Sales Technical Engineer to be an integral technical authority on UPS systems and Power Distribution Units. You will partner with hyperscale customers and the Sales team to craft innovative power solutions that exceed expectations.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering and 5–10 years of experience in UPS systems and data center infrastructure. Strong proficiency in English and Italian is essential for this role.

This position requires excellent collaboration skills with consultants and various internal teams to ensure the delivery of tailored power solutions.

Competenze

• 5–10 years of hands-on experience with UPS systems, batteries, and data center infrastructure.
• Strong IT proficiency with a natural customer orientation.

Mansioni

• Review RFQs and dissect customer requirements.
• Provide pre-sales support on product specifications.
• Design solutions where standard products fall short.
• Coordinate across internal departments and suppliers.
• Attend customer meetings as the technical expert.
