Vertiv in Bologna, Emilia Romagna, Italy, is seeking a Presales System Engineering Lead (Powertrain) to drive early-stage design and proposal development for modular data centers and related power systems. You will lead a multidisciplinary engineering team and coordinate across architecture, civil, electrical, HVAC, and fire protection disciplines.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
• Extensive data center design knowledge and architectures.
• Strong written and verbal communication across teams.
• Client interaction to translate requirements into designs.
• Proven leadership, time management and self-motivation.
• Proficiency in Windows, MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint) and AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English; CAD or similar documentation skills.

Mansioni

• Lead a multidisciplinary team during proposal design for modular data centers and power rooms.
• Review RFQs and tender documents and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Coordinate and supervise preparation of technical documentation for Vertiv data center solutions.
• Interact with customers and suppliers to align on specifications.
• Travel internationally for meetings, seminars and trainings.
