Vertiv Co is seeking a Power Converter Engineer for its Castel Guelfo (BO), Italy location. In this role, you'll assess new converter architectures and develop power products that align with both company goals and customer needs.

Your responsibilities will include analyzing future conversion technologies and collaborating closely with teams across service, manufacturing, and procurement to ensure project success. Proven experience in power conversion and a relevant degree are essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering required.
• 3+ years of experience in UPS or power conversion platforms.
• Proficiency with engineering design tools is crucial.

Mansioni

• Analyze and test future conversion topologies and components.
• Coordinate with engineering divisions to define product specifications.
• Prepare technical documents, including drawings and component specifications.

Conoscenze

Electrical/Electronic Engineering degree

3+ years of UPS or power conversion experience

Knowledge of IGBT, MOSFET, SiC power switches

Proficiency with PLECS, Spice

Strong planning and communication skills

Technical documentation skills

Laboratory measuring instruments operation

Customer-oriented with travel readiness
