Job summary

Our Client is seeking a Resident Senior Controller for its India plant to drive cost transparency and financial insight. You will monitor KPIs, analyze costs and support budgeting, reporting, and CapEx assessments as a strategic partner to plant management.

The role emphasizes manufacturing cost structures, cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement and Sales, and alignment with group standards across borders.

Qualifications

• 8/10+ years of experience in Controlling in industrial/manufacturing
• Strong plant controlling background in multinational companies
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations in international environments
• Experience with Indian manufacturing operations preferred
• Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities
• Deep understanding of manufacturing cost structures
• Experience working cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement and Sales
• ERP experience (SAP preferred) and familiarity with BI tools

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant performance and key manufacturing KPIs
• Analyze production costs, labor efficiency and machine utilization
• Manage standard costing, variance analysis and cost allocation
• Track bill of materials and manufacturing cost structures
• Support operational efficiency and CapEx investment evaluations
• Monitor cross-functional KPIs (sales margins, purchasing costs, production volumes, inventory turnover and quality costs)
• Coordinate plant budgeting and forecasting processes
• Ensure compliance with financial procedures and internal controls
• Support audit activities and reporting improvements
• Act as financial partner to plant management, providing insights for operational decision-making and facilitating communication with HQ
