Black & White Engineering is seeking a seasoned Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the mechanical scope on data centre projects, guiding conception through commissioning while ensuring high performance, resilience and compliance.

You will act as the primary technical contact for major clients across Europe, mentor junior engineers within multidisciplinary teams, and collaborate with electrical, structural, architectural, sustainability and BIM specialists to deliver integrated, cost-effective

Competenze

Strong experience in mechanical building services design, ideally within mission critical environments such as data centres, healthcare, or high tech manufacturing.
Solid knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and energy modelling principles.
Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, IES VE and CFD simulation software.
Proven leadership across complex technical projects and multidisciplinary teams.
Chartered Engineer status (or actively working towards it) with a recognised institution (e.g., CIBSE, IMechE).

Take ownership of the mechanical scope across large-scale data centre projects from concept through commissioning.
