Vertiv is seeking a Manager / Senior Leader of Manufacturing Process Design to join our team in Tognana, Italy. You will drive the end-to-end integration of NPI with manufacturing constraints, apply Yamazumi and DES to optimize lines, and bridge R&D with the shop floor.

Lead a team of engineers, oversee DFM/DFA reviews, virtual commissioning, and data‑driven improvements using ERP/BackEnd data. A strong track record in launching high‑volume power electronics globally is essential.

Competenze

• Minimum 15+ years of hands‑on experience in manufacturing process design for power products, including leadership roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering disciplines listed; Master’s preferred.
• Proven track record with DFM/DFA and high‑fidelity simulation modeling to reduce costs and improve reliability.
• Experience with CAD tools and data visualization software.
• Lean mastery with Yamazumi and Kaizen, plus Six Sigma/PE preferred.

Mansioni

• Lead NPI design integration with R&D to embed manufacturing constraints early.
• Balance processes using Yamazumi to maximize throughput and reduce WIP.
• Translate data into DES models; capture MTBF/MTTR and cycle times for validation.
• Lead DFM/DFA reviews to minimize ECOs post‑launch.
• Oversee virtual commissioning and validation of line layouts.
• Perform root cause analysis with FMEA and Six Sigma.
• Coordinate cross‑functional launches with global centers and plants.
• Mentor engineers in advanced manufacturing techniques.
