Topcon Positioning Systems, Inc is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop field survey applications used with GNSS receivers, robotic total stations, and other surveying equipment across Android, Windows, Linux, and iOS.

This hybrid role requires three days in the office, preferably in Concordia sulla Secchia (Modena) or Ancona, with collaboration across international teams and a strong focus on code quality, testing, and documentation.

Competenze

• 3+ years of professional software development experience with Java and/or C++.
• Hands-on Android development experience, including Android Studio.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design principles, algorithms, data structures and multithreading.
• Experience with debugging, testing, documentation and version control.

Mansioni

• Develop and maintain field survey applications using Java, C++, and related technologies.
• Implement software modules that connect with Topcon and third-party field equipment.
• Collaborate with project managers, team leaders, and software teams to plan delivery schedules and ensure high-quality execution.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and application issues.
• Support existing mature software while contributing to new features, enhancements, testing, and documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and contribute to continuous improvement of software processes.
