Topcon Positioning Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop field software for GNSS receivers, robotic total stations, and surveying equipment across Android, Windows, Linux, and iOS platforms.

You will work on Java and C++ applications with Android development emphasis using Android Studio, collaborating with cross-functional teams to plan, test and deliver high-quality features in a hybrid work setup.

Competenze

• 3+ years of professional software development experience with strong Java and/or C++ skills.
• Hands-on Android development experience, including Android Studio.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming, design principles, and multithreading.

Mansioni

• Develop and maintain field survey applications using Java, C++, and related technologies.
• Implement modules that connect with Topcon and third-party field equipment.
• Collaborate with project managers and software teams to plan delivery schedules and ensure high-quality execution.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and application issues.
• Support existing software while contributing to new features, testing, and documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and contribute to process improvements.
