Topcon Positioning Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Field Survey Applications (C++) to develop field software for Windows, Linux, Android and iOS. You’ll work with GNSS receivers, robotic total stations and related hardware using Qt/QML/C++.
The role requires strong C++ skills, cross‑platform experience, and familiarity with GUI frameworks. The team emphasizes innovative solutions, collaboration, and flexible remote/hybrid work arrangements with opportunities to travel to
Competenze
- Degree in Geodesy, Geoinformatics, CS, Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of professional C++ development experience.
- Experience with Windows development is required.
- Knowledge of Qt and QML is a plus.
Mansioni
- Plan and manage delivery schedules with project manager and team.
- Serve as the single contact for a module's design and delivery.
- Evaluate and schedule changes in module scope.
- Maintain, modify and enhance software across platforms.
- Implement support for Topcon devices in Geomatics Field Survey software (Qt/Qml/C++).
- Support mature software written in MFC.
- Implement surveying routines and CI/CD processes.
- Provide technical directions and resolve problems.
- Collaborate with teams across disciplines.
