AGFA HealthCare Corporation seeks an experienced Senior Field Service Engineer to deploy and manage mission-critical Healthcare IT and Radiology Informatics across hospitals and imaging centers in Italy.

The role requires deep expertise in RIS, PACS, VNA, cloud and virtualization, Kubernetes-based architectures, Oracle/SQL databases, and IT security, with the ability to collaborate with clinical and IT stakeholders.

Formación

• 10+ years in a technical customer support role
• Experience with mission-critical IT systems in healthcare
• Experience with PACS/RIS/Enterprise Imaging is highly preferred

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, upgrade, migrate, and troubleshoot Healthcare IT and Radiology Informatics platforms.
• Provide advanced technical support for Healthcare IT and Radiology platforms.
• Ensure high system availability and SLA compliance.
• Support Presales in design and enhance enterprise healthcare environments.
• Deploy and maintain PACS, AI imaging applications, and clinical workflow solutions.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Field Service Engineer to deploy and manage mission-critical Healthcare IT and Radiology Informatics solutions across hospitals, diagnostic imaging centers, and healthcare networks.

The ideal candidate combines strong expertise in healthcare applications, cloud technologies, virtualization, enterprise databases, and Kubernetes-based architectures. This role requires direct interaction with clinical and IT stakeholders, ensuring optimal performance, availability, security, and integration of Radiology Information Systems (RIS), PACS, Vendor Neutral Archives (VNA), and advanced imaging platforms.

The position involves deploying both on-premises and SaaS environments, leading complex technical projects, troubleshooting enterprise-level issues, and acting as a trusted technical advisor for healthcare customers.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Support & Service Delivery

• Perform installations, configurations, upgrades, migrations, and troubleshooting activities.
• Provide advanced technical support for Healthcare IT and Radiology Informatics platforms.
• Ensure high system availability and compliance with contracted Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Support Presales in design and enhance enterprise healthcare environments
• Deploy, and maintain enterprise healthcare environments including:
• PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems)
• AI Imaging Applications
• Clinical Workflow Solutions

Database, Virtualization, Cloud

• Deploy multi-tier application environments running on physical, virtualized and Cloud infrastructures
• Install and fine-tune Oracle Database environments.
• Implement and configure Virtualization and Container Platform (VMWare, Proxmox, Kubernetes)

Experience

• 10+ years of experience in a technical customer support role
• Proven experience implementing mission-critical IT systems
• Experience with PACS, RIS, and Enterprise Imaging solutions is highly preferred

Strong knowledge of:

• Networking concepts
• Databases (Oracle, SQL)
• IT security principles
• Experience with AGFA solutions or comparable PACS / RIS / EI platforms
• Strong verbal & written (English), and interpersonal communication skills
• Proven time management and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to change and manage multiple priorities
• Strong customer service orientation with internal and external stakeholders
• Willingness to travel 20-50%, depending on business needs.
