Job summary

Agfa HealthCare is seeking an Application Specialist (PACS / RIS / VNA) to join our team in Sesto San Giovanni, Italy. The role focuses on workflow analysis, configuration of applications, and on-site implementation at customer sites, with hybrid working and travel up to 80% to clients in Italy.

You will deliver clinical application training, troubleshoot solutions, and support project deployments with the implementation team while contributing to installation optimization and end-user

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Radiologic Imaging and Radiotherapy Techniques or radiographer with PACS/RIS admin experience in a clinical setting.
  • Open to travel up to 80% to clients in Italy.
  • 1–3 years of experience in healthcare, including medical imaging and hospital workflows, with focus on radiology environments and processes.
  • Excellent knowledge of hospital workflows / clinical environment; experience providing application support to clients with complex software environments within healthcare (medical imaging, radiology) is a plus.
  • PACS / RIS system experience is a plus; AGFA HealthCare systems experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Work at customer sites to conduct workflow analysis.
  • Configure applications on and off-site.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot implemented solutions.
  • Drive good customer administration practices within IT and Imaging.
  • Lead on-site implementation of RIS/PACS products with project deployment teams.
  • Contribute to optimization of installation based on customer workflow.
  • Assist in start-up phase and provide training and documentation to customers.
  • Deliver training to PACS/RIS administrators, radiographers, clinicians and support staff on and off-site.
  • Support Train the Trainer activities for key users.
  • Assist in development of training and documentation for applications.
  • Analyze user feedback and communicate to stakeholders.
  • Provide input and follow-up on application-related incidents.
  • Complete site visit reports with Project Manager coordination.
  • Support Sales in customer demonstrations (including trade fairs).
  • Provide feedback on project activities to Project Manager.

Job description

Agfa HealthCare is looking for a talented Application Specialist (PACS / RIS / VNA) to join our team. The Applications Specialist is a high-level informatics Application Specialist with experience in workflow analysis and configuration of PACS, RIS, VNA with experience in 3rd party applications. Along with this, the Application Specialist delivers clinical application training plus troubleshooting implemented solutions.

Location

Sesto San Giovanni (Milano), Italy.
Hybrid working with travel up to 80% of the time to clients in Italy.

As a Applications Specialist you are responsible for:

  • Work at the customer site to conduct workflow analysis
  • Configuration of applications on and off-site
  • Analyses and troubleshooting of implemented solutions
  • Driving good customer Administration practices within IT and the Imaging department
  • You are responsible for the on-site implementation of RIS PACS products at customer sites as part of project deployments, in collaboration with the implementation team assigned to the project.
  • Based on your in-depth knowledge of the application and the customer's workflow, you will contribute to the optimization of the installation.
  • You assist in the start-up phase and provide the customer with the necessary advice and documentation.
  • Deliver training to the PACS/RIS administrators, Radiographers, Clinicians, Radiologists and support personnel both on and off-site.
  • You support the "Train the Trainer" activities of the key users.
  • You assist in the development of application-specific training and documentation.
  • . You analyze user feedback and communicate relevant information to the appropriate internal stakeholders
  • You provide the necessary input and follow-up of application-related incidents.
  • Complete all documentation and site visit reports in coordination with the Project Manager.
  • You support our Sales department in conducting customer demonstrations (also during trade fairs).
  • You provide feedback on your project activities to the Project Manager.
What you bring to the table
  • You have a bachelor’s degree, in Medical Radiologic Impaging and Radiotherapy Techniques or you are a trained Radiographer with PACS/RIS Administrative experience in a clinical setting
  • Open to travel up to 80% of the time to clients in Italy
  • 1 to 3 years of experience within the healthcare sector, including medical imaging and hospital workflows, with a strong focus on radiology environments and processes
  • Excellent knowledge of hospital workflows / clinical environmentExperience providing application support to clients with complex software environments within healthcare (medical imaging, radiology) is a plus
  • PACS / RIS System experience is a plus
  • AGFA HealthCare systems experience is a plus.

Compensation:

Salary range (depending of level of experience) 30k – 35k euros + 10% bonus
