A leading technology company in Tognana, Italy, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer. The successful candidate will work on electrical design solutions within a multi-disciplinary team. Candidates should have a technical diploma, intermediate English proficiency, and at least 3 years of experience in the electro-technical sector. Senior Electrical Engineer – Tognana, Italy

As Senior Electrical Engineer you will be working in a multi‑disciplinary Engineering team on Sustaining & VAVE activities on Thermal units.

What kind of work will you be doing?

• Designing solutions with the focus on the electrical aspects, collaborating with Suppliers, Procurement, and Work in a multi-disciplinary Engineering team on Sustaining & VAVE activities on Thermal units.
• Creating and reviewing product documentation (CAD diagrams, specifications, bills of material).
• Meeting objectives of cost, quality, environment, and time of execution, achieving the best trade‑off between market and internal customer needs.
• Analyzing and Voici technical problems regarding products under his/her responsibility; improving, updating, reviewing the mechanical drawings according to the information from the Production, Procurement and Logistics departments, to simplify the assembly, reduce costs and improve quality.
• Developing projects, preparing and distributing the documentation for their realization, ensuring compliance with scheduled production time.
• Introducing changes on units in production and in other departments, cooperating in calculating the cost of the electrical modifications on the units, evaluating the possible use of obsolete parts, looking for alternative materials.
• Providing information flow to the production and to the suppliers, cooperating in solving electric non‑conformities and claims issues by the production and by the final testing line to improve the final product.

What will make you successful?

• Knowledge of groundings of electro‑technique and of electric regulations, applied to electric components.
• Capacity to take decisions for solving problems. Knowledge of electric components.
• Knowledge of thermodynamics and refrigeration principles desirable but not essential.
• Knowledge of air conditioning/refrigeration products required.
• Technical Diploma of secondary school. Technical university丝袜 (electric and/or electronical qualification) is a plus.
• English – Intermediate level – Written and spoken. Fluent speaking, reading, and writing should be a plus.
• Competences: result‑oriented, team player, careful to details, flexibility.
• Attitude for team work. Accuracy in drawing and operating in general.
• At least 3 years design experience in the electro‑technical and conditioning sector, or in production of A/C. Preferable but not essential.
• Knowledge of Electrical CAD and Microsoft Office hiz tools.
