Bimplus in Milan is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to lead commercial strategy across high-value data centre projects across Italy and Europe. You will oversee procurement, cost planning, risk management and contractual governance from feasibility through construction and close-out.

You will build strong client relationships, mentor junior teams and shape commercial delivery by driving value engineering, tender processes, and contract negotiations on NEC/JCT style agreements within a

Competenze

• 10+ years in commercial management, cost consultancy or quantity surveying on large-scale construction projects.
• MRICS or AssocRICS, or working towards chartered status preferred.
• Experience delivering data centre, mission-critical or similarly complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, JCT and other standard forms of construction contracts.

• Develop and implement commercial strategies that support project delivery and client objectives.
• Provide senior leadership on cost planning, budgeting and financial control throughout the lifecycle.
• Advise clients on procurement strategy, contract selection and risk allocation.
• Oversee tender processes, tender analysis and contract award recommendations.
• Lead negotiations and administration of contracts, including NEC and JCT forms.
• Manage variations, change control, claims and commercial disputes.
• Review project financial performance, forecasts, cash flow and reporting across commissions.
• Drive value engineering and cost optimisation while maintaining quality.
