Cumming Group are seeking a Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to join the Milan office. You will support commercial delivery of high-value data centre projects across Italy and Europe, contributing to feasibility through close-out.

You will work with clients and senior stakeholders to drive cost certainty, manage budgets, procurement strategies, and risk, while mentoring junior staff and supporting regional leadership.

Competenze

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• 3-5+ years of experience in cost consultancy or quantity surveying on large-scale projects.
• MRICS or AssocRICS or working towards chartered status preferred.
• Experience with NEC, JCT and other standard forms of contract.

Mansioni

• Deliver commercial and cost management services across large-scale data centre projects.
• Develop and implement commercial strategies that support project delivery and client objectives.
• Provide cost planning, budgeting, benchmarking and financial control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Advise clients on procurement strategy, contract selection and risk allocation.
• Manage tender processes, tender analysis and contract award recommendations.
• Support negotiations and administration of NEC and JCT forms where applicable.
• Review project financial performance, forecasts, cash flow and commercial reporting.
• Drive value engineering initiatives and cost optimisation strategies while maintaining quality.
• Support and mentor junior team members and assist regional leadership.
