Kent Data Centres in Italy seeks a Business Development Manager to own the Italian market and coordinate with European teams, combining data centre MEP leadership with strategic account development.

You will build relationships, qualify opportunities, support bids and contract negotiations, and lead delivery with the technical team when required. The role requires travel across Italy and, if needed, to neighbouring European countries, with close collaboration across sales, design, and site teams.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years’ experience in data centre infrastructure (power and cooling).
• Strong understanding of data centre MEP systems and risk management.
• Familiarity with CAD/Revit is a plus.
• Experience in pre-sales and bid support (RFP responses, technical inputs).
• Proven track record in business development and client engagement.

Mansioni

• Own the business development cycle in Italy (lead generation, qualification, bids, RFP responses, negotiation and contract close).
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the ecosystem (developers, operators, contractors, design consultants).
• Act as primary client interface, managing technical and commercial interactions across project phases (on-site and remote).
• Provide technical leadership on data centre MEP infrastructure and ensure quality across design and delivery stages.
• Oversee delivery of professional services and take direct delivery leadership on selected engagements.
• Lead strategic account management to drive client satisfaction and repeat business.
• Coordinate internal and external teams for smooth handovers between sales, design, contract execution and close-out.
