Job summary

CGS, an established battery technology company, is expanding its European BESS business and seeks a Senior Sales Manager to drive development across utilities, IPPs, EPCs, and industrial clients.

You will lead sales strategies for utility-scale and C&I energy storage, close high-value contracts, and collaborate with engineering teams to tailor solutions.

Fluency in English and Italian is required; willingness to travel across the region is expected.

Qualifications

• Several years of B2B sales or business development in energy, renewables, battery storage, or electrical engineering.
• Experience selling complex technical solutions and closing high-value projects.
• Established network with utilities, EPCs, IPPs, project developers, or industrial clients.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
• Willingness to travel across Europe.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to expand the BESS business across the assigned European region.
• Identify new opportunities and drive sales of utility-scale and C&I energy storage solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including utilities, EPCs, IPPs, and developers.
• Manage full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure.
• Develop a strong sales pipeline and identify strategic projects.
• Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to deliver customized energy storage solutions.
