Trinasolar ISBU is seeking a Senior PV & BESS Engineer to join the Italian Engineering Team. The role focuses on leading PV and battery storage project development, design validation, and regulatory compliance across multiple Italian projects.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage interfaces between PV, BESS, and grid connections, and ensure timely delivery from development through COD in a dynamic international context.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in utility-scale renewable energy projects (PV and BESS).
• Experience across full lifecycle from development to COD.
• Knowledge of permitting, land, grid connection and project readiness in Italy.
• Experience with grid connection processes in Italy (TERNA).
• Fluent Italian and English; additional European languages a plus.

Mansioni

• Lead development and execution of project plans: objectives, budgets, schedules, resources, metrics.
• Own technical scope of PV and BESS projects: specs, design validation, system integration, risk management.
• Coordinate technical reviews of deliverables and supplier docs for standards and regulatory compliance.
• Manage permitting activities and alignment with company standards and grid codes.
• Coordinate RFQ/RFP processes and evaluate EPC, BOS/BOP contractors and key suppliers.
• Act as liaison among internal teams, clients, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Supervise design processes and interfaces for PV, BESS, substation, and plant control systems.
• Support contract reviews identifying risks, gaps, interfaces, warranties, and delivery obligations.
