Jobgether, on behalf of our partner, seeks a Sr. Business Development Associate based in Italy to source acquisition opportunities in the vertical software market.

You will identify target companies, engage with owners and executives, and build a strong pipeline for platform acquisitions. This remote role combines market research, outbound development, qualification of opportunities, and collaboration with M&A leadership.

Competenze

• 3+ years in business development or sales within software or client-facing M&A roles.
• Proven track record sourcing at least one completed acquisition transaction.
• Understanding of key SaaS metrics (ARR, churn, GDR, COGS, Opex).
• Excellent verbal and written communication with executives and investment professionals.

Mansioni

• Identify new markets and software categories for acquisition opportunities.
• Research target companies and engage owners, CEOs, founders, and M&A advisors.
• Build relationships with software executives and investment professionals.
• Develop and communicate a compelling value proposition to targets.
• Manage Salesforce CRM activity and track opportunities.
• Collaborate with M&A leadership to assess and advance opportunities.
• Set and manage BD targets and KPIs; coach other team members.
