Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer for the Rome area to own end-to-end delivery of agentic AI solutions within enterprise environments. You’ll lead architecture decisions, integrate AI models, and drive production handoff with a Deployment Strategist.

The role requires 4+ years of software engineering, Salesforce platform expertise, and strong Italian and English business communication. A CS degree or related field is expected. Hybrid work in Italy is offered.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering or technical delivery in enterprise AI, cloud or SaaS.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Expertise in at least one language (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex) and familiarity with others.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end build and deployment of agentic AI solutions for strategic customers.
• Design and ship agentic systems on the Agentforce platform with robust integration patterns.
• Mentor other engineers through reviews and pair sessions.
• Collaborate with Deployment Strategist to translate customer challenges into deployable AI solutions.
