Job summary

Object First, now an independent business unit of Veeam, seeks a Sales Engineer to join our growing team. This technical role supports partners, prospects, and customers, enabling PoCs and delivering compelling demonstrations of our data protection and storage solutions.

Hands-on experience with Veeam Backup & Replication is highly preferred; VMCE or related credentials add value. Fluency in Italian and English is required; travel to customer sites and events is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong technical expertise in data protection, storage, networking, and virtualization.
• Experience leading technical sales presentations, demos, and PoCs.
• Ability to build relationships with partners and customers and qualify opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for Object First products and related technologies.
• Lead technical sales presentations, demos, and PoCs to customers and partners.
• Build and maintain relationships with partners and customers in your territory.
• Qualify opportunities by assessing technical requirements and solution fit.
• Support sales teams in customer meetings and technical discussions.
• Drive partner enablement through training and technical guidance.
• Participate in events and webinars to generate leads.
• Develop technical solutions with the sales team to meet customer needs.
