About the Role

The successful candidate will join the Sales Department and play a key role in supporting both the administrative and analytical activities of the commercial organization.

The position combines operational Sales Administration responsibilities with a strong focus on data quality, reporting, business analysis, and process improvement. The role will support Area Sales Managers and other internal stakeholders by ensuring efficient sales operations, accurate data management, and actionable insights to support business decisions.

The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, technology-oriented, and interested in leveraging data, digital tools, and process optimization to improve business performance.

Main Responsibilities

• Support the Sales and After Sales teams in all administrative activities related to sales processes.
• Assist with order processing, customer quotations, order verification, and the implementation of procedures required for order release into production.
• Ensure effective follow-up of sales contracts, including the management of technical documentation, materials required for testing, payment monitoring, expense management, and training coordination.
• Maintain and update sales-related information within company systems, ensuring accuracy, data consistency, and process compliance.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of sales reports, statistics, and analyses related to orders, quotations, margins, and ongoing projects.
• Ensure the timely and accurate flow of information between Sales and the other company functions involved in the order fulfillment process.
• Collaborate daily with Area Sales Managers and support customer-related activities when required.
• Provide administrative support to commercial initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes and workflows.

Data Analysis & Business Support

• Collect, validate, consolidate, and monitor data coming from multiple business sources, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and business analyses using tools such as Excel and Power BI.
• Analyze sales performance, order trends, commercial KPIs, and business data to support decision-making.
• Identify trends, anomalies, risks, and opportunities through structured data analysis.
• Support management in the preparation of reports, presentations, and performance reviews.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and automation of reporting activities and recurring processes.
• Promote data quality and support initiatives aimed at improving data governance and reporting accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements and translate business needs into effective analytical solutions.
• Support the adoption of digital tools, AI-enabled solutions, and data-driven approaches within the department.

What You Need to Be Successful

Requirements

• Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Previous experience (at least 5 years) in Sales Administration, Sales Support, Commercial Back Office, Business Analysis, Reporting, Data Analysis, or similar roles.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools, preferably Power BI.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP knowledge is considered a strong plus.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, or other analytical tools is considered a plus.
• Interest in digital technologies, artificial intelligence, data analytics, and process optimization.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Our Offer

Compensation for this role includes a base salary starting from EUR 35.000, in line with experience. The actual offer may exceed this minimum based on the candidate's qualifications and fit for the role.

A range of additional benefits (e.g., insurances, etc.) is also available in accordance with Company policy.

The applicable collective agreement is the CCNL Metalmeccanico.
