G.D, headquartered in Bologna, Italy, is seeking a Project Manager to lead our machinery projects from kickoff to customer site installation. You will ensure results meet technology, quality, reliability, schedule and cost targets.

Key tasks include planning, monitoring and coordinating cross-functional activities, managing budgets and risks, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders. The role requires a Master’s in engineering, 4+ years of PM experience, and travel up to 30%.

Competenze

• Master's degree in engineering, preferably in Management.
• 4+ years of Project Management experience in a structured organization.
• Experience tracking budgets and assessing risk.
• Fluency in English (B2/C1).
• Strong knowledge of MS Office and MS Project.
• Negotiation and conflict management skills.
• Decision-making and problem-solving mindset.
• Excellent presentation capabilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

About the Role

As a Project Manager, you'll be responsible for planning, monitoring, and managing the project from the time it officially begins until the installation of the machinery on the customer site. You will ensure the project results meet technical, quality, reliability, schedule and cost requirements.

The project manager's main responsibilities are:

• Planning, monitoring and managing G.D projects: ensuring results meet requirements in terms of technology, quality, reliability, schedule and cost;
• Ensuring the correct order processing to delivery of the product, planning activities and times, in agreement with other departments, to ensure compliance with the planning and the deadlines agreed with the other departments and the customers;
• Monitoring performance and recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions and manages projects to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs;
• Ensuring adequate communication is maintained regarding project status and priorities to achieve the project objectives in terms of time, budget and realization.

What You Need to Be Successful

• Master's degree in engineering, preferably in Management;
• Proven and solid experience of at least 4 years in Project Management in a structured and matrix organization;
• Experience in tracking and monitoring projects' budgets and assessing risk management;
• Fluency in English (B2/C1);
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Microsoft Project);
• Negotiation skills and ability to manage conflicts;
• Decision-making and problem-solving attitude;
• Excellent presentation capacities;
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Our Offer

Compensation for this role includes a base salary starting from EUR 44.400, in line with experience. The actual offer may exceed this minimum based on the candidate's qualifications and fit for the role.

A range of additional benefits (e.g., insurances, etc.) is also available in accordance with Company policy.

The applicable collective agreement is the CCNL Metalmeccanico.
