Generative Bionics S.r.l. in Genoa, Italy, is hiring a Robotics Software Engineer to develop the software building blocks that connect robot subsystems and ensure reliable, deployable platform functionality.

You will contribute to the integration of control, sensing, AI, teleoperation, simulation, and diagnostics across the humanoid platform. You will write and maintain production-quality software, test in simulation and on physical systems, and collaborate with cross-disciplinary engineers to

Competenze

• Solid programming in C++ and/or Python; version control with Git.
• Experience building, debugging, and maintaining non-trivial software systems.
• English proficiency; willingness to travel nationally and internationally.

Mansioni

• Develop, integrate, test, and maintain software components for the humanoid robot platform.
• Build interfaces and tooling connecting control, sensors, actuators, AI, teleoperation, simulation, and data collection.
• Create reliable configuration, startup, monitoring, logging, and diagnostics workflows for robot software.
• Investigate and resolve cross-subsystem integration issues: software, networking, electronics, and mechanics.
• Develop automated tests, simulation-based tests, and validation tools to improve reliability.
• Support software releases, deployment, upgrades, and operational validation on lab and pilot robots.
• Collaborate with Robotics, Controls, AI, Electronics, and Mechanical teams to implement practical solutions.
• Produce documentation and contribute to engineering standards and code-review practices.
