Job summary

BionIT Labs S.r.l. in Italy is seeking a Robotics Engineer to advance our bionic systems by integrating robotics, edge AI and NVIDIA-accelerated computing.

You will design intelligent behaviors, perception pipelines and control strategies on Jetson platforms, ROS2 and real-time embedded hardware. You will collaborate across teams to deliver safe, reliable medical robotics solutions, validate algorithms in simulation, and ensure compliance with IEC 62304 and ISO 13485.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with ROS2, Isaac ROS and edge AI.
• CUDA/TensorRT used for real-time AI on Jetson hardware.
• Proven ability to develop reliable robotics software in embedded systems.
• Familiarity with regulated environments and software standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop robotic control, motion planning, sensor fusion and closed-loop algorithms for embedded platforms.
• Build real-time AI perception pipelines on NVIDIA Jetson using CUDA/TensorRT and Isaac ROS.
• Design and optimize ROS2-based middleware for low-latency integration.
• Integrate perception-planning-control stacks into prosthetic system architecture.
• Validate algorithms via simulation with URDF models and Hardware-in-the-Loop testing.
• Ensure code quality and documentation per MedTech standards.
