We seek a hands-on Robotics Software Architect to define and evolve core software foundations linking real-time control, drivers, sensing, AI, simulation, and deployment. You will work across robotics, controls, AI, electronics, and mechanical teams to ensure scalable, observable systems that can operate beyond experiments, with strong emphasis on secure, robust software and

Qualifications

• Experience designing or evolving complex software systems across multiple components and teams.
• Strong software-engineering foundations with practical C++ and Python experience, plus Git versioning.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices, authentication, authorization, and cryptography.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the software architecture for the humanoid platform and system-wide interfaces.
• Lead the design of infrastructure that integrates control, sensing, AI, and simulation.
• Establish engineering standards for APIs, configuration, observability, testing, and release management.
• Collaborate with robotics, controls, AI, electronics, and mechanical teams to align software with physical constraints.
• Support decision-making through design reviews, prototypes, and evidence from simulation and robots.
• Mentor engineers and technical leads to foster ownership and sound engineering judgment.
