Generative Bionics S.r.l. in Genova, Italy, seeks a Robotics Software Engineer to build software blocks connecting the robot subsystems, test in simulation and on real hardware, and contribute to deployment workflows.

You will work with ROS 2, CI/CD, and cross-disciplinary teams to turn prototypes into dependable capabilities, writing production-grade code in C++ and Python. This role offers hands-on experience with humanoid platforms and a path to impact practical robotics across the product

Formación

• Solid programming in C++ and/or Python; Git versioning.
• Experience building, debugging, and maintaining non-trivial software systems.
• Good software-engineering practices: version control, testing, debugging, and code review.
• Hands-on with real systems and willingness to work in a multidisciplinary, fast-paced environment.
• Professional proficiency in English; willingness to travel nationally and internationally.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, integrate, test, and maintain software components for the humanoid robot platform.
• Build interfaces and tooling connecting robot control, sensors, actuators, perception, AI apps, teleoperation, simulation, and data systems.
• Contribute to reliable configuration, startup, monitoring, logging, and diagnostics workflows for robot software.
• Investigate and resolve integration issues spanning software, networking, electronics, and mechanics.
• Develop automated tests, simulations, and validation tools to improve platform reliability.
• Support software releases, deployment, upgrades, and validation on lab and pilot robots.
• Collaborate with Robotics, Controls, AI, Electronics, and Mechanical teams to implement practical solutions.
• Produce clear technical documentation and contribute to coding standards and reviews.
